Ernest Hemingway, For Whom the Bell Tolls, first edition, Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1940, with first printing A mark underneath copyright, hardbound with a tan cloth, together with Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, Grosset & Dunlap, New York, an early reprint, hardbound with a red cloth.

Condition

Bell - No dust jacket, wear to spine and largely faded red detailing, light age toning and few scattered moisture stains around page edges, binding in good condition. Arms - Dust jacket faded along spine, repaired at back, tears around edge. Top half of cloth cover with wear on all sides, pages are in good condition.
