English William & Mary oak and pine chest of drawers, with a molded edge top overhanging a case with 4 drawers with applied moldings forming geometric panels, resting on ball front feet, 36" h., 34 1/2" w., 21 1/2" d. For similar example, see Sack, Fine Points of Furniture, pg. 96. Provenance: Edgar & Charlotte Sittig.
Rear 2 1/2" of top replaced. Brass replaced. A few repairs/losses to drawer moldings. Front feet are period, but either reattached or associated with case.
