English mahogany clockwork sewing stand, dated 1803, possibly modeled after Radcliffe Observatory or the Temple of the Winds, with marquetry and printed decoration and gilt metal accents, having five drawers, 35'' h., 14'' w., 16'' d. Provenance: DeHoogh Gallery, Philadelphia.
Scattered repaired cracks at corners and to veneers. Two doors in upper section are wobbly. Wear to applied lithographs at base of tower.
