English burl veneer davenport desk by Gillow, ca. 1845, with a brass gallery and leather inset slant lid, over a case with inlaid drawers and turned and carved supports, stamped Gillow next to the lock of the slant lid, 33 1/4" h., 20 1/4" w., 22" d.
Minor small veneer losses. One drawer missing edge molding. Small loss to one ring turning on leg.
