English armorial pewter charger, late 17th/early 18th c., bearing the mark of Robert Nicholson, 18'' dia., together with a 17th c. French broad rimmed dish with armorial engraving by Claude Morant of Lyon, 16 3/4'' dia., and a charger marked London, beside a rose and a faded hallmark, the rim initialed F R M, 18'' dia.
Surface scratches and wear consistent with age and use. Nicholson charger professionally repaired at rim.
