Empire mahogany one drawer work table, 19th c., 32" h., 23" w.
Top - foldover two piece, hinges good, veneer has shrinkage crazing/cracks, 1 1/4" dia. burn mark just off center, two small pieces of edge molding missing (one piece in drawer). Box - good overall condition. Pedestal - good condition but has some finish erosion at base. Base has veneer cracks (like top) and some finish erosion. Feet are in good condition. Overall the piece has a little weakness at the box/pedestal connection (wobbly). Top locator is damaged and jammed.
