Eight Philadelphia Queen Anne walnut dining chairs, ca. 1745, consisting of a rare set of six and a near identical pair, all with a vasiform splat, slip seat, and cabriole legs, joined by flat stretchers, terminating in stocking drake feet, all in an old finish.

Condition

Overall very good condition. Some minor repairs to knee returns, crest/stile joints, etc. Two chairs with split repairs to rear legs. One chair with repairs to stretchers, possibly early replacements.

Available payment options

We can accept most major credit cards from established clients; however, there is an additional 3.5% surcharge. Pook & Pook, Inc. does not accept debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, BidPay, or Western Union wires. First time purchasers must pay with cash, bank check, money order, wire transfer, and/or personal/business check. First time purchasers paying with personal/business check cannot collect items until payment has cleared or ten days post-deposit. Items purchased for a third-party must be paid for by the purchaser of record, regardless of whether the purchaser of record has received funds from the third-party. The purchaser of record cannot be changed on an invoice post-auction.
