Eastern Shore, Virginia yellow pine clothes press, ca. 1770, with raised and arched panel doors flanked by raised panel sides, supported by straight bracket feet, 66" h., 41 1/2" w. Depth - 18 3/4". Original locking mechanism not present. No drawer. Repaired cracks and patches to cornice. Hinges replaced. 1 1/2" square patch to door. Three shelves in interior with old ivory paint. One backboard replaced. One rear foot replaced. Side facing of one front foot replaced.
