Delaware Valley six-slat ladderback side chair, mid 18th c., with a rush seat and squared cabriole legs joined by ball and ring turned front stretcher terminating in crooked feet, retaining an old dry historic surface. Chairs of this type are often associated with the workshop of Solomon Fussell and William Savery.
