Delaware Valley Queen Anne walnut dining chair, ca. 1745, the yoke crest over a vasiform splat and trapezoidal slip seat, supported by cabriole legs terminating in slipper feet, joined by serpentine flat stretchers. An identical example, probably from the same set, is at the Chester County Historical Society and is illustrated in Kindig, The Philadelphia Chair, fig. 18; For a similar example attributed to the Savery Shop, see American Antiques from the Israel Sack Collection Vol. VIII, p. 5883.
