Delaware Valley Queen Anne tiger maple high chest, ca. 1765, the arched cornice with an applied shell over five long drawers, resting on a base with four drawers supported by cabriole legs, terminating in bold slipper feet, 86 1/2" h., 38 3/4" w. Originally owned by Col. Charles Pettit a member of the Continental Congress. Provenance: Kelly Kinzle; The Estate of Charles West Wilson, Red Lion, Pennsylvania.

Condition

Small patches to rear of side cornice moldings. Finials and plynths replaced. Brasses appear to be original. Two side knee returns replaced. Bottom 2" of center of apron replaced.
