Delaware Valley Chippendale walnut dining chair, ca. 1765, with a shell carved crest rail, shell carved skirt, and cabriole front legs terminating in ball and claw feet. Sold by order of the trustees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to benefit acquisition funds.
