Delaware Valley Chippendale mahogany dining chair, ca. 1770, the shell carved crest with scrolled ears over a pierced splat with volutes and trapezoidal slip seat, resting in a frame with shell supported by shell carved cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet.
Repaired break to crest at splat. Original slip seat. Corner blocks replaced. Scuff marks to legs and feet.
