Delaware painted hard pine blanket chest, ca. 1780, with a lift lid and scalloped bracket feet, retaining its original blue painted surface and black base, 22" h., 43" w. Provenance: The Collection of Margaret Schiffer.
Dimensions: 22" h., 44 1/4" w., 16" d. Hinges are in good shape. No apparent warping to lid. Lacking lock. Front panel not tight do to shrinkage. Paint loss and surface abrasions throughout. No additional photographs available for this lot.
