David Douglass (Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania), full stock flintlock long rifle, approximately .46 caliber, set triggers, converted to percussion, having a tiger maple stock with cheek rest, silver escutcheon, engraved brass three-piece patch box, brass trigger guard and crescent butt plate, the barrel inscribed D. Douglass, the lock with illegible stamp, 36" heavy octagonal barrel.
Good overall condition, set triggers not functioning, some pitting near bolster, barrel turning brown, crack through the toe, 1/2" chip on left butt stock.
