Dauphin County, Pennsylvania painted pine dower chest dated 1808, the lift lid over a case adorned with 3 tombstone panels with pinwheels, tulips, etc., the center panel inscribed "Sara Farne", 24 1/2" h., 50 1/2" w.
Lock replaced. Feet replaced. Three patches to right return molding on lid.
