Custom Marlin Ballard single shot lever action Schuetzen rifle, .38-50 caliber, with walnut perch belly stock, Schnabel forend, high relief cheek rest, palm rest, Swiss style steel butt plate, set triggers, and scroll engraved receiver with a buffalo on one side and a stag on the other bordered by repeating hearts, rear tang sight, globe front sight with leveling device, 32" octagonal barrel. SN #8610 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Fine overall condition, refinished barrel, minor dents on ridges of left side of barrel, receiver bright, excellent stocks, bright bore with strong rifling.
