Continental walnut coffer, early 18th c., with carved griffins flanking a crest with claw feet, 13 1/2" h., 24" w.
2 1/2" patch to lid. Repaired blow-outs to hinges. One rear foot slightly loose. Sarcophagus top probably replaced.
