Continental velvet cap with gold and silver metallic embroidery, early 19th c., together with a velvet and silver embroidered panel decorated with angels and lilies, 33'' x 29 1/2''. Provenance: DeHoogh Gallery, Philadelphia, PA.
Hat- Wear consistent with age, few losses to beading, but in overall good condition. Panel - 1 1/4" loss, two small losses, scattered stains and loose stitching.
