Confederate soldier ambrotype, identified as Pvt. Paul George Phillips, Co. B, 59th Regt. N.C.T., died near Petersburg, VA, July 7, 1864, together with an embossed N.C. button and a cloth fragment, 3 1/4" x 2 3/4".
Contemporary frame. Some loss to image at bottom, left and right edge.
