Coney Island Magician elevating lady automaton, this mechanical marvel was said to be an attraction on display at World of Wax, on the inside - not in the window. In operation the magician lifts one hand and waves his wand with the other as the lady elevates. The complex mechanism was restored by Mr. Fox to working condition, on a glass faced base with interior lighting apparently a provision for a translucent sign, purchased from the owner of the Wonder Wheel, 44" h., base 31" w., 25" d. The mechanism appears to be in full working order (not guaranteed) but the main drive belt has stretched and needs replacement for full functionality (does not stay on the pulleys).
