Conestoga Rifle Works percussion full stock rifle, .40 caliber, with a cherry stock, a brass patchbox, and set triggers, 37 1/2'' octagonal barrel.
Lock marked "CONESTOGA RIFLE WORKS" & barrel flat marked "CONESTOGA" over "RIFLEWORKS LANCASTER". Crudely made patchbox with brass star on cheekrest. There is no nosecap. Hammer does not stay cocked.
