Colt model 1911-A1 transition semi-automatic pistol, .45 ACP caliber, made in 1940, parkerized, checkered walnut grips, GSR inspector proof to left side of frame, 5" barrel. SN #719944 C&R
Fine overall condition, 98% original finish, light wear to grips, frosty bore with strong rifling. Marked CSR G on frame ahead of hammer. Barrel marked P above barrel cupling. Only serial number is on frame.
