Colt model 1860 single action Army percussion revolver, .44 caliber, four screw with brass trigger guard, walnut grips, all visible serial numbers including wedge match, 8" barrel. SN# 25227 Very good overall condition. Frame screws appear to be replacements. Does not index properly and locks up tight. Normal handling marks. Grips have numerous scratches and abrasions and show shrinkage. No apparent cracks or splits to grips or frame. All metal turning grey. One safety pin broken. One frame pin broken & missing. One barrel pin is broken off. Fair bore, pitted, with good rifling. Address on barrel is crisp and clear, "Col. Saml Colt New York US America". Cylinder scene is well worn with loss of detail.
