Colt "Lightning" slide action rifle, .22 caliber, made in 1896, with walnut stock, 24" octagonal barrel. SN #23228
Overall good condition, peppery bore with strong rifling, forend has been broken in half and poorly repaired, chip to toe of butt stock, handling marks throughout stock, crack in butt plate, retains 75% blue.
