Colt lightning pump action rifle, .38 caliber, made in 1890, medium frame, having a walnut stock with checkered forend, crescent butt plate, 26" octagonal barrel. SN #49618 Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Very good overall condition with all metal having a plum patina, small area of light pitting forward of the loading gate, bright bore with strong rifling, butt stock shows normal handling marks except for a 1" chip at the junction of the upper tang and the right butt stock.
