Collins & Son Civil War presentation staff and field officer's sword and scabbard, with wire wrapped ray skin grip, having an etched US blade with spread wing eagle, the pierced brass floral guard inscribed Presented to Capt. Geo. H Napheys by members of Co. F 25th Reg. C. V., Captain Napheys was commissioned into Co. F in 1862 and was mustered out in Hartford, CT. in 1863, 32'' blade length.

Condition

Light surface rust on blade, overall excellent condition.
