Collection of English luster tablewares, 19th c., tallest - 7 1/4". Provenance: The Estate of Virginia Whitely Thornton, York, Pennsylvania.
Strawberry pitcher - 2" hairline to base, glaze loss to rim. Dog pitcher - 1/2" chip to spout, large chips to base rim. Marriage pitcher - chips to spout. Cup - chip to rim. Handleless cup - two 2" hairlines. Handled cup - crack. Bowl - 1" hairline. Floral saucer - two hairlines. Others - good condition, no apparent damages or repairs.
