Civil War Dahlgren bowie knife bayonet and scabbard, designed by Admiral John A. Dahlgren for the U.S. Navy Whitney Plymouth Rifle, with walnut grip, dated 1861 on the right ricasso, with the Ames address on the opposing side, 11 1/2" semi-spear point blade.
Overall very good condition, minor surface abrasions to scabbard.
