Christian Mertel(Southeastern Pennsylvania, 1739-1802), Lancaster County ink and watercolor fraktur dated 1780, the central heart with script surmounted by 11 other hearts, 12 1/2" x 16 1/2".
Minor all over staining. Creases. Two 1/4" losses along horizontal crease. Period tiger maple frame. tape on back along creases. A couple breaks along creases.
