Chippendale style walnut high chest, mid 20th c., a well executed bench made copy of a fully developed Philadelphia masterpiece, 99 1/2" h., 43" w.
Height is 93" without the finials (99 1/2" h. with finials). Age cracks to arches. Solid wood (no veneer). Drawers are in good condition, function well, have no apparent repairs. Finials and center ornament are attached with a single screw (easily removable). Overall very good condition. Provenance: The Estate of Marie Schwarz, Philadelphia, PA.
