Northampton County, Pennsylvania Chippendale inlaid walnut tall case clock, ca. 1770, the broken arch bonnet with stylized tulip and foliate inlay encasing an engraved brass dial inscribed John Miller with thirty-hour movement, the sides with repeating floral and foliate inlay, the waist door with carved shell crest over shell inlays dated 1773 and initialed A.B over a molded raised panel door with floral inlay below, over a molded base with shell and floral inlay, 94" h.
