A rare Philadelphia Chippendale mahogany piecrust tea table, ca. 1755, possibly by Nicholas Bernard, the baluster standard with an egg and dart ring supported by acanthus carved legs terminating in ball and claw feet, 28 1/2" h., 32 1/2" w. A similar table, referenced in the Kindig files, refers to a table in private hands with acanthus carved plaques above the knee carvings.
