Childe Hassam (American 1859-1935), watercolor street scene, Toledo, Spain, signed upper left and dated 1910, 6'' x 9 1/2''. The etching of this view is listed in Royal Cortissoz Catalogue of the Etchings and Dry Points of Childe Hassam, pg. 74, #94, entitled Toledo. It is mentioned that the etching was ''done from a watercolor drawing made in Toledo Spain 1910''. Provenance: Vose Galleries; M. Knoedler & Co.; Allentown, Pennsylvania estate.
