While the original owner is not definitively known, a line of decent can be drawn from Isaac to Mrs. Elmer Schultz of West Chester, Pennsylvania whom the desk was purchased from in 1953.
Condition
Upper section lacking lock. One drawer lip missing 1 1/2" section to right top edge. Patch to left top edge on slant. Small loss to interior drawer lip. Brass replaced. Crack in one front foot facing. Crack in base molding. Minor age crack to side. Front left foot ended out 1 1/2".
