Chester County, Pennsylvania walnut tall case clock, ca. 1775, the works signed B. Chandlee Nottingham, the case adorned with inlaid pinwheel, tulips, and other devices. Illustrated in Schiffer Chester County Furniture and Its Makers, fig. 16 and 17.

Condition

Parts: pendulum, two weights. 92 1/2" h. Losses to rosettes. Works wobbly on saddleboard. Moon phase repainted. Hinges and lock replaced. Feet are old replacements. Pook & Pook does not guarantee clocks to be complete or in working condition.
