Chester County, Pennsylvania Queen Anne walnut "Octorara" tall chest, ca. 1745, the molded cornice over 5 short and 4 long drawers flanked by chamfered stiles supported by screw on Spanish feet, 59 1/4" h., 38" w.
Secondary wood - walnut with chestnut and poplar. Original brasses. Minor lip repairs. Old surface. Lower 4 drawers have replaced brasses as well as replaced feet. Patch to back of base, mid moulding replaced. Otherwise excellent condition.
