Chester County line and berry inlaid walnut blanket chest, dated 1768, initialed IHL, 24" h., 46" w.
Two small patches at hinges. Age cracks to top. Small blow-out at rear dovetail. Batons replaced. Till replaced. Lock replaced. 3" x 1" blow-out to top front corner. Repaired age cracks to lid. Feet replaced. Bottom board replaced.
