Chester County Chippendale cherry tall case clock, ca. 1770, the broken arch bonnet enclosing an eight day works with brass face, signed B.Benjamin Chandlee Nottingham, 102" h. Provenance: Descended in the Chandlee family; purchased by a New Jersey collector, 2005.

Parts: pendulum, weights. 102" h. (top of finials). Case tilts slightly to the right. Works and case are original but saddleboard was shimmed up to fit and original shims have been replaced with shims not quite high enough to make the face sit properly in the bonnet. Finials replaced.
