Canterbury, New Hampshire silk on linen needlework sampler, inscribed "Eliza Peverly's sampler wrought in the thirteenth year of her age AD 1820", the central panel with bands of alphabets and strawberries surrounded by a wide border in a queen stitch background with typical bird and basket format worked in blues, greens, white, tan, brown, and yellow, 17 1/4" x 16".
