Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Deep Run School, watercolor and ink on paper bookplate, done for Susana Roth, 1791, with an upper rectangle with a yellow and red border, enclosing a stylized female figure flanked by tulip vines and flowers over a lower rectangle with colorful script, 6 1/2" x 4 1/4". Provenance: John Gordon.
Contemporary frame. Conservation mounted. Staining. Color runs. Losses to edges. Tear to upper left edge. Border loss to top edge. 1/4'' strip replaced to right edge. Small edge tears. Not examined out of frame.
