British flintlock officer's pistol, ca. 1790, .60 caliber, inscribed with British proof marks and Liverpool on barrel flat, the lock inscribed Joseph, the trigger guard engraved and decorated with a pineapple finial, with a 9'' Damascus octagonal barrel.
Cock does not stay cocked, in otherwise excellent, unfired condition, with original ramrod.
