British Enfield pattern 1861 Tower percussion musket with bayonet, .577 caliber, with walnut stock stamped on underside of butt L. Hall 7, the lock stamped Tower 1861, with crown, the barrel with illegible proofs, the left side of stock with carved V V O INS, 39" barrel.
Very good overall condition, missing the nipple, normal handling marks, missing rear site which is filled in. There are no numbers or stamps on the butt plate. "L. Hall" stamped half way between trigger guard and butt plate. Illegible marks behind trigger guard. Replacement ramrod.
