Boston Queen Anne mahogany dining chair, ca. 1750, the shell carved crest over a vasiform splat and compass slip seat supported by cabriole legs terminating in pad feet joined by stretchers, retaining an old, perhaps original, surface.
Rear 5" of top replaced. Lock replaced. Braces added to base. Pads added to feet. All feet have large patches toes. Old cracked surface.
