Boston, Massachusetts silver tankard, ca. 1710, bearing the touch of John Coney, the flat lid with cast mask and dolphin thumbpiece and later hinged spout lid over a tapered cylindrical body with engraved armorial, 35.5 ozt., 7 1/4" h.
Spout added. Other repairs and restoration (quite a bit of resoldering, difficult to determine the extent of the restoration).
