Blue and white jacquard coverlet, mid 19th c., the eagle and star corner blocks inscribed "Liberty", the bottom border with alternating buildings and potted flowers, the side borders with flowers and grapevines, the interior with geometric designs, 88" x 78". This lot is pictured in Coverlets by Melinda Zongor and Joseph D. Shein, pgs. 110 and 111.
Body in very good condition. Losses to corners. Losses to fringe. Some very small areas of loss in body.
