Black Forest carved bear head plaque, 20th c., 13" h. Upon close inspection an examination it does not appear that the carving is 20th c.
No damage or cracks to bear head but it looks like the head has been cleaned of some older varnish. Bear head appears to be original to the plaque. Good condition. No apparent damages or repairs. Carving appears to be a 20th c. reproduction.
