Birmingham silver egg-form nutmeg grater, ca. 1803, with egg form, bearing the touch of Joseph Taylor, the outside inscribed "Semper Victor", 1 3/4" h.
"Bearing the touch of" means there is a stamp of the maker and a silver guarantee (solid silver). Graters work and can be used to store nutmeg. Very minor tiny dents.
