Berks County, Pennsylvania painted poplar tall case clock, ca. 1810, the associated works inscribed "Peter Gifft", the broken arch bonnet with yellow and red trim with salmon tulips on a blue background, the waist decorated with similar tulips, yellow arched door flanked by red fluted quarter columns above a base with a sunken arch panel with applied carved star and fan cartouche and repeating bold tulip decoration, 88" h.
Parts: pendulum. Works associated with case. Cornice cut. Loss to feet. Hinges replaced. One hinge broken. Loss to side molding below bonnet. Losses to applied stars on base. We do not guarantee the working condition of clocks.
