Berks County, Pennsylvania painted pine dower chest, dated 1803, the front decorated with 2 panels of potted tulips interspersed with white dots and framed by columns flanking the inscription "Pamlla HR 1803" all on an ochre ground above 2 short drawers supported by straight bracket feet, 24 1/2" h., 48" w.
